UK band JLS have announced they're splitting up after a five years together. The band will call it quits following a farewell tour and greatest hits album later this year.
"It’s just that time, band member Aston Merrygold told The Sun. "We are still best of friends and always will be — but this is the end."
Aston and his bandmates Marvin Humes, Jonathan “JB” Gill and Oritsé Williams have had a pretty successful 5 year career since finishing second on the 2008 version of The X-Factor UK. Their list of accomplishments include more than 10 million records sold and five UK #1 singles, currently more than any other act from a reality TV show in the UK.
