Big Time Rush visited Newtown, Connecticut earlier this week on Monday (July 22) to perform a free concert for hundreds of fans and families of the community. The free show was set up by Newtown native Scott Fellows, the creator of BTR's Nickelodeon television series.
"I set out to create a TV show and I ended up with a boy band," The Newtown Bee quotes Scott Fellows saying as he introduced Big Time Rush to the crowd after thanking public officials for their service. "And it’s tonight, and it’s right here."
Although the weather didn't exactly corporate with the event as it rained throughout most of the show but ultimately the show had to be cut short due to lightning, but not after the boys got in a good amount of songs starting with their song "Windows Down" and ending with "Confetti Falling."
"#BigTimeNewtown was unreal! Thank u guys for staying through the rain!!" Carlos tweeted following the free concert.
Check out pictures of the boys and the fans in the crowd in the video below.
