"Dear AMAs: Thank you for nominating the SAME people over and over each year. You should take a deeper look at artists who work just as hard," Carlos tweeted.
Carlos went on to reply to a few fans who shared the same opinion as him:
"It must be because we have a "nickelodeon show" and were not "cool" ... ohh the world we live in," he told one fan. "Its all about who is in the public eye..but how do u get in the public eye if no ever gives you the time of day..." he told another.
This is not the first time this year a artist has lashed out against an awards show, you may remember Tom from The Wanted was not happy with the MTV EMA's after being snubbed in the nominations.
"I think it's bulls**t that we weren't nominated for an EMA this year!!!" he tweeted. Later adding: "Maybe next year x"
If you're interested, voting is now open for the American Music Awards and the show takes place live on Sunday, November 18 on ABC.
