They're shaking thing's up for the third season of NBC's hit singing competition The Voice this fall. They've added a new segment called "The Steal" which will allow coaches Christina Aguilera, Adam Levine, Cee Lo Green and Blake Shelton to steal their rivals' cast-offs after being cut.
Billboard reports "The Steal" comes into play once a coach cuts a singer from their team during the battle rounds, at which time the rejected singer can be claimed by any of the other coaches. Ultimately, each coach will add two singers to their teams from the "discard" pile in addition to their eight they originally cut down to.

Meanwhile, executive producer Mark Burnett hinted that season three may be the last time we'll see Christina, Adam, Cee Lo and Blake coaching together. None of them have signed on for a fourth season, and when the show returns in the spring, they all may have touring conflicts. However, Burnett said the door will always be open.
"It's your seat for life," Burnett said to the coaches, adding that any replacement would only be for one season. "If someone goes on tour, they can help bring in another coach," he explained. Christina said that if the coaches go off and make records and tour, they can then come back to the show with "fresh advice" for the contestants.
Season 3 of The Voice premieres on September 10 on NBC.
