Hey Gleeks! Last night was the very first episode of Season 4 of Glee on FOX! We've got your rundown here on HitZone in what we like to call our Gleeview! Enjoy!
The season started off with a GREAT performance of Call Me Maybe performed by the characters Tina, Unique, Blaine and Britney. It was pretty much a battle and wasn't supposed to be great but it sounded good none the less. The next fantastic performance was done by Rachel's new teacher at NYADA and her version of Americano by Lady Gaga mixed with Dance Again by JLo was very different, but perfectly done. I didn't really like where it was placed in the show but it was very cool as far as dancing and singing together. A new character named Jake sang the first little bit of The Frays Never Say Never (amazingly well might I add), before getting cut off. He ended up not getting in to the Glee club which is pretty interesting, but he did throw sheet music all over the stage. Rachel and new Rachel sang New York State Of Mind in an epic mashup from different parts of the country. Absolutely incredible vocals from both actresses and I look forward to seeing more of both this season! Blaine's version of It's Time by Imagine Dragons had this really cool cup pounding thing and it sounded really awesome. The final song of the night, Adele's "Chasing Pavements" was a great way to end the show. It was an incredible performance by the entire group and spotlighted the new members of the cast.
See you back here next week!
