James Arthur won The X-Factor UK over the weekend and he's taking no time off. In addition to singing, he's also a songwriter and he says he already as some songs that may be perfect for some of his biggest fans, One Direction.
The One Direction boys have been very supportive of James throughout the competition and even predicted him as the winner following their performance of "Kiss You" on Sunday's (December 9) final. And afterwards they apparently all met each other and hanged out backstage.
"It’s funny cause they’re the biggest band in the world but I’ve never met a more down-to-earth bunch of lads," James told STV after the show.
Although all the boys have been supportive of James throughout the show, it's Louis Tomlinson that has been most vocal about his support and it seems those two are the closest.
"He’s a top lad. We've been out for some beers together and had a great time," James continued. "I would love to write songs for them. In fact I've already got a few I think could work."
Is it to early to already think about a third album from One Direction with a song written by James Arthur on it?? What do you think?
If you're unfamiliar with James, check out his performance of Shontelle's "Impossible" on The X-Factor UK final.
