One Direction's Louis Tomlinson is spending a lot of time this week giving back to the community. The big-hearted superstar organized and participated in a football (soccer) match that raised over £10,000 for Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice earlier this week. However, the staff, parents, and children were in for a big surprise the the 1D star arrived for a super-secret visit.
Away from press, cameras, and screaming fans Louis took time to speak with everyone in the hospice and taking pictures and signing autographs for the children during his two-hour visit.
Louis enjoyed the visit almost as much as all the kids did.
“I’m so honored to be a patron of this wonderful charity and my visit today was incredibly moving... I met some truly inspirational people - the work Bluebell Wood do is phenomenal.”

Sarah Champion, chief executive of Bluebell Wood, said that Louis' help is going to tremendously help the hospice raise it's profile.
“What a fabulous morning we had. Our children and their parents were thrilled that he came and visited us and certainly brought a lot of sunshine with him,” Sarah said.
“Having Louis as our patron and spreading the word about our work is wonderful, it really helps to raise our profile and help us raise much needed funds for the hospice.”
Isn't that awesome?? Even though the boys have a VERY busy schedule over the next couple of months, we hope that Louis and the One Direction boys continue to support charities in the future!
