Back in December it was announced that One Direction would be covering Blondie's "One Way or Another" for the amazing charity Comic Relief and the boys spent the last couple of days in Africa as part of their involvement with the charity. The boys confirmed the news on Twitter that they have indeed spent the last few days in Ghana, calling the trip "inspiring" and an "eye-opener."
"Having the most amazing few days of my life !" Liam tweeted yesterday.
"Today was the most amazing day I've had so far.. In my life ever," Harry tweeted a few days ago, before adding today: "@rednoseday Thank you so much for having us. It was amazing and we'll see you soon .xx"
Even Louis got in on the tweeting frenzy adding: "So honoured to be a part of @rednoseday . Met some beautiful people over in Ghana. Please donate big this year!"
And finally the trip affected Niall so much that he sent out a whole series of tweets, that included a whole bunch of exclamation points, earlier today regarding One Direction's trip.

While in Africa, 1D apparently visited some of the people and area's who are directly helped by Comic Relief funds, and filmed segments to accompany the video for their official Red Nose Day single, a cover of "One Way or Another."
The footage of the boys meeting poverty stricken families is expected to air in a segment as part of the Red Nose Day broadcast on March 15. The single will be released in February and is expected to be available for pre-order on January 31.
Will you be tuning in to see the boys in Africa on March 15?
