One Direction visited Paris yesterday (October 11) to do press for their new album, Take Me Home, as well as their new single "Live While We're Young." And Harry admitted the band is slightly nervous about taking on Rihanna again. One Direction lost out on the top spot in the UK singles chart last weekend, after RiRi took the number one slot with her song new song "Diamonds," leaving 1D’s "Live While We’re Young" at number three, behind internet sensation "Gangnam Style."
Their new albums will be competing nearly head to head too, with One Direction’s Take Me Home set to come out on November 12 and Rihanna’s Unapologetic coming out a week later on the 19th.
“For us as a band we still feel really new to this whole thing, so for us to be in the charts and among people like Rihanna and Christina Aguilera is just crazy," Harry said in the Paris press conference.
"It’s going to be tough because Rihanna just sells, all the time, so it’s going to be hard but we think the fans will hopefully like the album and hopefully go out and get it.”
We know we'll be supporting the 1D boys with their album and knowing how dedicated Directioners are, we're sure they'll do a great job of keeping the guys competitive for the top spot.

You can watch part of their Paris presser below in which Liam talks about his newly shaven hair (because really what's a 1D interview these days without Liam's hair being involved?). As he has mentioned in a few other recent interviews, he revealed he did not cut his hair for charity, as was rumored, nor did he cut it out of frustration from his recent break-up. He simply did it because he wanted to.
“Liam gets up later than everyone else, because he doesn’t have to do his hair,” Harry said.
Liam responded by saying: “That was the tactic.”

Who's album will you be purchasing, One Direction's or Rihanna's? Or both? Or maybe even neither? Let us know!
