One Direction returned to the Today Show stage in Rockefeller Center on Friday morning (August 23) for the third time! The boys were last on the show back in November when they announced they were making a movie and at the time they broke the Today Show record for the largest crowd with 15,000 fans in attendance.
In typical One Direction fashion though, today they broke their own record! Over 18,000 fans showed up to see the boys play "What Makes You Beautiful," "Kiss You," "Little Things," and the second live TV performance of "Best Song Ever" making it the largest crowd in Today Show history. Niall was even rocking a guitar during the performance of BSE!

And here's "Little Things"
Before and after the performances the boys joked around with each other, helped out the stage crew, and went around and met some of the fans that came out to see them, some of which have been camping out since last Saturday just to get up close to see them perform.
The boys also did a short interview with the Today Show crew where they talked all about This Is Us and Zayn made a very small comment on his engagement to Perrie Edwards before Niall lightened up that bit with some joking news of his own.
