One Direction's Harry Styles says the band's new album Take Me Home has a more "live" sound than their debut album, Up All Night. The band says they enjoyed experimenting with different sounds during the recording process.
"We want to gradually get more and more live sounding," Harry reveals in the December issue of Vogue UK Magazine. "So this album is a lot less little synth sounds, more guitars and drums."
"It's important to experiment with things," the "What Makes You Beautiful" star said "We want to move with the times, but keep true to ourselves."
Fellow band member Niall Horan also commented on the band's contributions to the album saying that the band both wrote songs on the record and even played some of the instruments.
"We did a lot of writing in the studio," he said. "And I play the guitar, so I play on a lot of the tracks on the album."
We're stoked to hear how the whole album turns out! Not to much longer now.
