Pink says that she received numerous death threats on Twitter from Chris Brown fans after she criticised his performance at the Billboard Music Awards earlier this year.
"The internet has created monsters," Pink told news.com.au. "People that wouldn't have the balls to say anything in person but they get a keyboard under their fingers and, well, there's that saying 'Anonymity is a shield from the tyranny of the majority'. There are so many haters in the world, so many miserable people."
"One day if I lipsync, I hope I do it as well as him," she tweeted about Brown's performance at the Billboard Music Awards.
She said that she meant the remark as a joke, not in a way meaning 'I hate Chris Brown.' "With the Chris Brown thing I got death threats for days," Pink says. "My favorite was, 'I will snatch you within an inch of your life'. I don't know how that works exactly, but whatever you want."

The 'Blow Me' singer also mentioned Twitter abuse she got when she decided to used the social media website to announce she was the new face of Covergirl cosmetics.
"After the announcement someone tweeted to me 'Too bad they can't photoshop the bitch off your face'," she says.
"I was like 'Ding ding ding! We have a winner, someone send that person a prize. They were probably all proud of themselves when they were writing it. But that's our society, that's where we're at right now."
Pink isn't the only celebrity that has dealt with death threats and hate on Twitter. It happens all the time to nearly all celebrities, most of whom don't acknowledge it, but there are some that will respond and show that just because you're behind a computer doesn't mean you can say whatever you want and expect to get away with it.
You may remember that a few weeks ago One Direction star Zayn Malik deactivated his Twitter account after he was "sick of all the useless opinions and hate" that he says he gets daily on the social networking website. Zayn of course changed his mind and re-activated his Twitter account just two days after making the announcement.
Just another good reminder that even though they're celebrities and have millions of followers, they're still real people with real feelings.
