For the first time this season a results show wasn't a double elimination, on Tuesday (June 4) night's results show of The Voice, only one singer was sent home bringing the total down to five performers for next week's semi-finals show.
As always the results show was a night of music as last season's champion Cassadee Pope returned to The Voice stage to premiere her debut single "Wasting All These Tears" then Michelle Chamuel and Sasha Allen teamed up for "Open Your Heart." The Swon Brothers and Holly Tucker also teamed up for a joint performance of "Leave The Pieces." The final duet of the night was between Danielle Bradbery and Amber Carrington who performed "Eternal Flame"
During the show we also got a look at Team Blake along with Michelle from Team Usher visiting Moore, OK prior to performing at Blake Shelton's Healing in the Heartland benefit concert for the tornado victims in Oklahoma.

Let's get to the results of the night, which included the shocking elimination of two very strong contenders. Here they are in the order they were revealed on the show:
Michelle Chamuel (Team Usher)
Sasha Allen (Team Shakira)
Danielle Bradbery (Team Blake)
Amber Carrington (Team Adam)
The Swon Brothers (Team Blake)
This means that Team Blake's Holly Tucker was eliminated from the show. Although the decision left Blake disappointed, he knew "something had to give" at some point. He still has the advantage over his fellow coaches though still with 2 contestants compared to the other's only having one each.
What are your thoughts on this week's elimination? Are the right people going to the semi-finals?
The semi-finals kick off with the top 5 performing for your votes next Monday at 8/7c on NBC.
