The Voice was on a special night tonight and it was the final night of the three night premiere. It was led off by Samuel Mouton from Fort Collins, CO. He came out and rocked a version of "Redemption Songs" and got Adam's attention. He wasn't the only one as he was followed quickly by Cee-Lo and Christina. It was Adam who got lucky though as Samuel joined Team Adam.
One of the disappointments of the night was Chris Trousdales and his performance of “Glad You Came." I say disappointing because he didn't get selected. As a former member of the boy band Dream Street, he's sold a million records and toured around the country. He brought the audience to their feet right away and even got Blake Shelton to dance afterwards. Chris definitely is an good singer and entertainer, but probably something more suited for The X-Factor or American Idol.
The night continued with Nelly Echo and her performance of “Aint No Sunshine." He got Christina to turn around right away followed by Adam when he hit a high note. He decided to go with Christina. Next up with the show's very first mother/daughter duo 2Steel Girls from a family band. Their performance of “Before He Cheats” had the audience going crazy and got Blake & Cee-Lo to turn around at the exactly the same time. As with most country act's, they decided to join Team Blake.
The show went through a quick montage of Cee-Lo losing pop acts to the other judges: Lisa Scinta and Marissa Ann joined Team Christina meanwhile Adam Levine beat out Cee-Lo for Loren Allred.
Then came what was likely the most entertaining performance of the night, Domo, a hip-hop dancer from Bronx who made it known she's been featured in many commercials and billboards. She performed “Don’t Cha” by the Spice Girls and got Cee-Lo’s attention right away, she even had him dancing his chair. He stage presence was dead on as she got the audience involved in a chant of her name. She's the perfect match for team Cee-Lo.
The final performance of the night was the only four-turn performance of the night. It was Nicole Nelson's performance of “Hallelujah." Adam was all over that as the first to turn around followed by other three. In the end, she decided to go with Team Adam.
