Tonight was night two of the three night premiere of this season of The Voice. The blind auditions continued with six featured performers.
The night started off with a bang with Adriana Louise, a bartender from New York, with a performance of “Domino." She got Cee-Lo & Adam’s attention right away and eventually got Christina & Blake as well starting the show with the season’s second four-turn performance! In the end, she decided to join Christina's team. Then came former wrestler, Casey Muessigmann (musicman), who performed “Sweet Home Alabama” and immediately got Blake’s attention followed quickly by Cee-Lo. To nobody's surprise, he decided to stick with his country roots and go with Blake Shelton.
The show kept going with the inspirational, Aquile, who learned to play guitar when he got his jaw broken when he was 19. He even played gigs on the guitar with his mouth wired shut. He came out and performed a soulful version of “Your Song” and got the attention of Christina, Adam, and even Cee-Lo at the last minute and of course all the ladies in the audience. When it was time to make a decision, he went with Christina.
Ryan Fogarty was up next with a performance of “Tomorrow” and despite being a tour production coordinator for LeeAnn Rhimes and singing at many karaoke bars, he didn't get any spins from the coaches. Next up was MacKenzie Bourge who took his guitar on stage and performed a fun performance of “Pumped Up Kicks." MacKenzie had an inspirational story as well because when he was younger he got a virius that shut down organs. The coaches described him as "Justin Bieber meets Harry Potter" but only got Cee-Lo's attention making him the newest member of Team Cee-Lo.
The show wrapped up with a upbeat and fun performance of "La Bamba" from Julio who became the first artist to sing a full song in Spanish on The Voice. He got Blake’s attention right away and Cee-Lo at last minute. After telling the coaches about himself, upon Cee-Lo’s request, he even did some mariachi. In the end, he decided to go with Blake.
Here's where the coaches team stands so far, remember they each get sixteen members total:
