The final three of The Voice, Nicholas David, Cassadee Pope, and Terry McDermott laid it all out on the line for their final shot to impress America and be named The Voice on Monday night's show. Each contestant sang three times, a new song, a duet with their coach, and a special performance of the song they felt was their breakout performance. Here's how the night went down!
Before the night got started, a few eliminated contestants joined the four coaches, Carson Daly, and the top three for a tribute to the victims of the Connecticut school shooting that took place on Friday with a performance of Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah." Each person held a name along with the age of one of the victims. It was a very touching performance and one that gave me chills to watch.

Moving onto the night's performances, we'll start with Nicholas David's three songs. He kicked things off with a flaming performance of "Great Balls of Fire" and "Fire," Adam told him he was glad that he took that moment to have fun because sometimes they forget that the show is supposed to be fun.
His second performance was his choice as his breakout song, "Lean On Me." Adam and Cee Lo, as always, gave him high praise for the performance. Cee Lo said that he helps him believe again,
And David returned with coach Cee Lo Green for a very funky performance of "Play That Funky Music," that once again proved that these two were the perfect team on the show.
The always amazing Cassadee Pope was up next, her first performance of the night was her breakout song, which of course was "Over You." Although still amazing, the first time around was slightly better. Christina went on to compliment her on her outfit meanwhile Adam said that she made him really proud.
Her second performance of the night was her duet with Blake Shelton and it was a rockin' performance of Sheryl Crow's "Steve McQueen."
Then her final performance of the night was "Cry" by Faith Hill. It was another emotional performance for Cassadee that received a standing ovation from Blake. Afterwards, Blake said that even with all her great moments on the show, he's never heard her sing the way she did in that song.
Last, but certainly not least, Terry McDermott rocked the stage all night long! His first performance of the night was the duet with Blake Shelton of Aerosmith's "Dude Looks Like A Lady," which even featured Adam Levine rockin' on the guitar. It was an awesome performance and one of my favorites of the night.
Then he returned with his new song of the night, "Broken Wings," which just happened to be his son's favorite song. The coaches all agreed that it was a tough song to sang and he did amazing at it. It was another great performance from Terry.
And finally Terry performed the song he felt was his breakout song of the season, "I Want To Know What Love Is." Blake said that he sang it better this time around then he did the first time, and I would agree.
Now that the contestants have done all they can, we gotta ask - who do you think will win tonight? Vote in our poll below and be sure to tune into the live finale at 9/8c on NBC featuring performances by The Killers, Bruno Mars, Kelly Clarkson, and Rihanna.
