The Voice semi-finals took place last night (12/10) and the show's final four contestants got emotional as they competed for a spot in next weeks finals. The show opened with Carson Daly announcing that only one contestant would be eliminated on Tuesday's show, so three of the remaining four would move on to next week's finale.
Soon after that Michael Buble hit the stage to kick off the show with an awesome performance of "Christmas (Baby, Please Come Home)"

Then we got straight down to business as Team Cee-Lo's Trevin Hunte sang the classic "Wind Beneath My Wings." It was another emotional song for Hunte, which seems to work well for him. Christina said the song really took her back to her childhood where she would sing it all the time, but said she never sang it as good as him.
Next up, Nicholas David performed "You Are So Beautiful," which he dedicated to his family. He gave such an emotional performance that he had to sit down afterwards, not sure what was up with that. But Adam said it was a very heartfelt and inspiring performance. Cee Lo also mentioned that they disagreed in the direction they should go with this performance, but he said he's happy with the way it turned out.
The show then took a break from contestant performances for a special performance of "White Christmas" by Blake Shelton and ALL of his team members from this season of The Voice. You can check out that performance on YouTube.
Then it was time for Blake's remaining contestants to take the stage, Cassadee Pope was first up. She was amazing, as always, with her performance of "Stupid Boy." Blake had that look of a proud dad that we've seen a lot this season and he once again gave her a well deserved standing ovation. Christina said she sounds so good she almost sounds auto-tuned. While Blake said nobody else in the history of the show can connect with lyrics of songs like she can.
And finally we had the awesome Scottish rocker, Terry McDermott with his performance of "Let It Be." Adam was left speechless by the performance before saying he found it inspiring. His coach then added that there's only a handful of singers that should sing that song and he’s one. He said he believes this performance was "musical perfection."
What did you think of the night's performances? Who do you think America will send home on tonight's show? Be sure to tune in for the results at 8/7c on NBC!
