For the second week in-a-row America choose who stayed and who went home on The Voice and after a show that Blake called the "best episode ever," it wasn't an easy choice.
The show opened up with yet ANOTHER performance from Christina Aguilera from her new album Lotus, this time she was joined by her team for "Let There Be Love." We wonder how long this string of shameless self promotion will continue. Anyway, here's the performance.
The show opened up with yet ANOTHER performance from Christina Aguilera from her new album Lotus, this time she was joined by her team for "Let There Be Love." We wonder how long this string of shameless self promotion will continue. Anyway, here's the performance.
Christina wasn't the only performance of the night, Adam Levine hit the stage with his team for a performance of "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" and the entire top 10 performed "Hit Me With Your Best Shot."
And here's your list of contestants saved by America's vote, in the order they were revealed on the show.
Nicholas David (Team Cee Lo)
Cassadee Pope (Team Blake)
Dez Duron (Team Christina)
Cody Belew (Team Cee Lo)
Melanie Martinez (Team Adam)
Terry McDermott (Team Blake)
Trevin Hunte (Team Cee Lo)
Amanda Brown (Team Adam)
That meant Team Adam's Bryan Keith and Team Christina's Sylvia Yacoub were the eliminated contestants. Sylvia thought she made it through for a second in an awkward exchange between her and Carson Daly at the end of the show. The show really needs to do a better job of scheduling their live-shows.
This elimination leaves Christina with only one member left, Dez Duron. Adam Levine and Blake Shelton have two contestants each, and Cee Lo Green is in good shape with all three of his contestants left in the competition.
What did you think of the results? Do you agree with who got sent home?
