Hey guys! It's Gigi once again to give you a head's up on what went down on last night's X Factor! This week's theme was "Number Ones" and the Top 8 definitely brought their A game!
The show started off with a bang with the always fabulous Diamond White singing the Whitney Houston chart-topper "I Wanna Dance With Somebody." Not only did she do Whitney proud, but she also showed us a new fun side of Diamond White.

Vino Alan, I'm not gonna lie, he was a bit off last night. His rendition of "You've Lost That Lovin' Feeling" I don't know if it was the key or the timing or what, but I just didn't see the Vino I'm so used to seeing.
Next up was Paige Thomas and her risky take on the classic "Never Gonna Give You Up." I absolutely LOVED everything about that performance-I thought her vocals were a little weak, but that didn't stray from her killer performance.
Fifth Harmony showed some major girl power with Kelly Clarkson's "(What Doesn't Kill You Makes You) Stronger" These girls just get better and better every week. I really hope they stay in the competition after tonight. Also, our hearts go out to Ally and her family for their loss.
Everyone, including myself, is always so critical of people when they try to do an Adele song. Carly Rose Sonenclar (who took the top spot on the leader board last week) had nothing to be criticized for with her version of "Rolling in the Deep." I'm just going to say it: I thought it was better than the original. Take a look and let me know what you think!
Keith Urban's hit "Somebody Like You" was sung by Country Man Tate Stevens. With his guitar in hand, he showed America that he can be playful-and I loved every second of it (yes, even the dancing.)
CeCe Frey may have been in 8th place, but she brought everything she had to the stage with "Lady Marmalade" There's no denying that this girl is a fighter.
And last (but certainly not least) of the night was Emblem 3, who gave their most epic performance yet! I thought they've never sounded or performed better. And did I hear we'll be hearing some original music? Can't wait for that!
Along with the Top 8 performing, we also got a sneak peek at Will.I.Am & Britney Spears's new song "Scream and Shout" which is now on iTunes.
What did you guys think? Who'd you love? Hate? Sound off below and don't forget to tune in TONIGHT when the Top 8 becomes Top 6-with special performances by Alicia Keys and X Factor USA Season One Runner-Up Josh Krajcik! Tune in to FOX 8/7c.
Until neXt time!
