One of The Voice's newest coaches has opened up about how his style of mentoring is on the show and says you can't compare it to those of fellow coaches Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, and Shakira.
"You can't really compare my style to anybody," Usher told Rolling Stone. "My style is more military than anything, because I'm all about the preparation and have always been. I rehearse a million times to be prepared."
The "Scream" star went onto to say he's hoping to train his team into professionals and help them understand how serious it is.
"My style is to make them understand the seriousness of the craft and that they have the very best opportunity to be the greatest or the worst, depending on how you take it," Usher said.
Usher makes his coaching debut on The Voice when the fourth season of the show premieres Monday, March 25 on NBC.
