Big Time Rush has come a long way from the four boys thrown together to create a TV show and a boy band. What they've accomplished since then is amazing, they have four seasons of their TV show, they are currently on another tour, and have recently put out their third album.
They've come a long way in their music style as well. They've gotten songs they've written on album, and grown as musicians. They recently sat down with Billboard.com and discussed what making 24/Seven was like this time.
"The hardest part of being in a band is figuring out the album. Because it's hard to not let you emotions get involved there," James said about choosing one song over the other.
"It's definitely much more down-to-earth pop," Logan added, "t's very much more organic than our last two [albums], and obviously I think, as far as the writing goes, there's a level of growth and maturity that we kind of hit that we hadn't hit in the previous albums. I think we've done our best writing on this last album."
Looks like there is still a sense of competition between the boys though, "It's tough, because everyone wants to sing everything," Kendall said, "Because we love projecting and showing what we got. But I everyone, this album especially, was like 'Let's sing whoever sounds best on whatever part'."
"Sometimes the day goes long, but at the end of the day we're making music and promoting an album," Kendall stated.
