Ed Sheeran is currently on tour across America and this morning he stopped by for a in-studio interview with Elvis Duran and the Morning Show in New York City. During the interview they talked to him about all the time he's spent in America recently as well as spending much of the year in the US on Taylor Swift's Red Tour. And Ed revealed that he actually plans on buying a place in the states very soon.
"I'm actually moving to the states for a little bit," Ed said told Elvis Duran when asked about spending time in America. "I'm getting a place here."
Ed then revealed he's moving to Tennessee because it's a nice place to relax for him.

"To be honest I love New York, but it's too similar to London for me," Ed said. "Like I still don't own a place in London, I own a place in the countryside in England because I like having that escape. I wouldn't want to be in the city that whole time and LA is cool but you find a lot of douche-bags there and I rather be surrounded by people in cowboy hats that spit tobacco and talk to you about random things."
One of the things Ed really loves about American is how nice Americans are, he said that upon arrival in Houston, TX the kindness really surprised him.
"We get in the lift and this elderly couple says 'hey y'all how you doing? Are you guys musicians We can just tell. It's so nice to meet you, have a nice trip y'all.' Me and the lads we're like, 'we're they about to rob us?'"
"So I'm just getting around to the American way of life where people are just very positive and just up for being nice and they really celebrate great success and I'm honored to share that success over here," Ed added.
We're so happy Ed is loving his time in America! Are you seeing Ed in concert this year?
