Ed Sheeran has been teasing us with bits about his upcoming second album and recently Ed spoke to Noise11.com in Australia and teased even more news about the album including the name and possible release date.
"My second album has taken full shape recently," he said. "I don’t know if there will be any collaborations on it yet. I have a name for it but I can’t tell you the name just yet but it doesn't start with a letter."
Ed told Noise11 that his new album will be released on February 17, 2014 - we know, THAT SEEMS SO FAR AWAY! But it will go quickly and remember that new song "Photograph" that Ed said would "change his career?" Ed said that song is gonna be on it.
"Photograph, that will be the big one on the album," Ed said before saying we won't be hearing that song or any of his other new stuff until the album comes out. "Coldplay do that and big bands can ease in new songs to their set but my fans are so viral that the moment that I’d play a new song every one of them would hear it."
"They are on YouTube and Twitter and I think there should be some surprise," he continued. "I don’t want everyone knowing what the record is before they get it. I want them to listen to it first."
Awwww. What a bummer. We're sure it will be worth the wait though. Are you excited for Ed's new stuff??
