It was a big day for pop music fans as two of our favorite up and coming groups took over Times Square in New York this morning (June 7)! Both Emblem3 and Little Mix took over Good Morning America as part of the show's Summer Concert Series.
Just days after announcing the tracklist of their debut album, Nothing to Lose, Emblem3 hit the stage first with a rockin' and high energy performance of their current single "Chloe" that had all the lucky fans that were able to come in going crazy. After the performance the boys talked a bit about the meaning of the song, Drew explained it in his signature deep way saying, "to find true love one does not seek the perfect person, instead one should learn to see the imperfect person perfectly."
So deep and meaningful, wouldn't expect anything else from Drew and the guys. Here's their performance of "Chloe" on GMA.

Then it was Little Mix's turn to take the stage. It's been a huge week for the girls already after landing the highest charting debut for a British girl group on the Billboard 200 with their debut album DNA and their performance on GMA was the girls' US television debut. Speaking about their reaction to their fanbase in the United States, Perrie said: "Every time we do a fan event or a signing and we see thousands of fans everywhere we get a little overwhelmed. It's just incredible they've been amazing."
Here's the girls' performance of "Wings."
And just because I know you're curious, here's a look at both of the complete interviews with the groups to go along with their performances. Little Mix even does their best American accent in their interview - must see stuff right there!
What did you think of E3 & Little Mix's performances?? Are you a bit bummed they didn't do a little collaboration?
