Hey everyone! It's Gigi in for Gabi this week to give you this week's Gleeview!
Episode 7 starts with a few of the glee club members led by Night Bird (Blaine) as the "Secret Society of Superheroes," a group that came together to fight against the evils that tried to bring the glee club down. Along with Night Bird there was Sweet and Spicy (Sugar), Asian Persuasion (Tina), Tarantula Head (Joe), Queen Bee (Becky), Blonde Chameleon (Sam), Dr. Y (Artie) and Human Brain (Brittany). Just as the club's first meeting begins, Night Bird gets a text on the "Emergencies Only" cell phone he has for the group-only to find out that it's just Asian Persuasion asking if he's talked to Kurt lately. He hadn't (which makes me sad.) Then they get a message that their Nationals trophy has been taken hostage-via laptop.

Jake goes to ask Marley out by her locker, only to find out that she already has plans with Ryder. Ryder calls Jake out for the way he treated Marley, and ends up in a fight with Jake over Marley but Marley and Finn intervene before it escalates into more than shoving.
Speaking of Finn, it's his first official first day as the new leader of the New Directions, and if his first idea (Foreigner songs in foreign languages dressed in costumes of all of the nations) wasn't a clue, it didn't exactly go well.
Finn asks advice from Beiste and she told him to join in on the Superhero action.
On the Missing Trophy front, Blaine went over to Dalton Academy to get it back, but instead finds out it was all a ploy created by the newest leader of the Warblers Hunter Clarington, to try to get him to return to the Warblers. Hunter presents Blaine with a Warblers Blazer and joins the group for Kelly Clarkson's "Dark Side"

Finn, excuse me, Treble Clef, the Uniter of Glee Clubs comes to glee club with a new idea: Dynamic Duets. He pairs enemies Ryder and Jake & frenemies Marley and Kitty for the duets. Kitty decides to take matters into her own hands and picks her costume and song without consulting Marley, and Jake doesn't even want to bother working on the assignment with Ryder, but ends up in a suit/tights for a duet of "Superman" by R.E.M.
The song was going well...until it ended in another fight.
Frustrated with the both of them, Finn sits Jake and Ryder down to give them a different approach to try to get to know each other. He tells them to reveal their deepest secret to one another.
Then while trying to find out more about the stolen trophy, Finn finds out that Blaine not only sang with the Warblers, but is transferring back to Dalton because he went to McKinley for Kurt and Kurt is no longer there.
Then Marley confronts Kitty about not wanting to do the duet anymore. She feels too self conscious about her body to put on a skin tight suit. Kitty assures Marley that if she continues to purge (she's done it every day that week) and trusts her, then their performance will be awesome.
Jake reveals to Ryder that because he's part white, part black, and part Jewish, he's never quite fit in anywhere. He passes Ryder a note with the secret, but Ryder has Jake tell him to his face. When Jake calls Ryder out on not revealing his weakness, Ryder spills that he couldn't read the note.
In the girl's bathroom, Kitty is admiring herself in her Femme Fatale body suit, and encourages Marley to be less self-conscious in her Wall Flower costume, and become confident Woman Fierce. Together they perform their rendition of the Footloose hit "Holding On For A Hero" Britney realizes that Blaine isn't in the room-Finn then reveals to the group that Blaine is leaving.
Ryder finds out that Jake told his secret to Finn when Finn takes him to a specialist. Ryder takes a few tests and is diagnosed with dyslexia. He's relieved to find out that's what it was, as opposed to just being stupid. He thanks Finn for helping him out, and Finn tells him to thank Jake.
Jake is in line for lunch sweet-talking Marley's mom, when some guys from the football team arrive to start picking on her. Jake defends her, but then the ridicule is put on him. Thankfully Ryder, Artie, Becky and Joe show up and the bullies back down. Looks like the Ryder/Jake feud is over.
In other Superhero news, we see Puck "Pucker-Man" on the Hollywood Walk of Fame getting a call from his half-brother Jake asking him for advice on Marley. His advice? Play it cool.
Sam confronts Blaine about leaving for Dalton and Blaine reveals that he hooked up with a random guy he met on Facebook. Sam lets him know that one bad mistake doesn't make him a bad person, and asks Blaine to give him one day to change his mind. With a montage to Blaine's performance of David Bowie's "Heroes" , Blaine, Sam, and other glee club members paint over some graffiti. Blaine changes his mind and stays with the New Directions, and he and Sam steak their trophy back from Dalton.
Ryder reschedules his plans with Marley in order to study for his session with a dyslexia specialist. Kitty comes to Marley's side and convinces her that Ryder is just using an excuse because be isn't into her. Marley decides that she isn't going to wait around and takes Jake up on his offer.
