We've been telling you for months that Little Mix would try to crack the US in 2013 and now it's official! The UK girl group have signed a record deal with Columbia Records and are set to release "Wings" as their debut single in the states.
"We want to show everybody what we're about and bring out our first single over here," Jade Thirwall told Twist Magazine.
"Wings is the perfect introduction to Little Mix and what we're all about, so we can't wait to show it to everybody in America!"
Jesy Nelson says they chose "Wings" as their debut single in the US because it's been a fan favorite and has a "uplifting message."

"We wanted our first single to be a song that meant something to us, but also meant a lot to our fans," Jesy told the magazine.
"We wanted an uplifting message about believing in yourself, listening to what your mum says (because she's always right!) and just not letting any negativity bring you down."
Little Mix joins a wave of British artists that are bringing their music to America, including One Direction, who inspired the girls to bring their music stateside.
Although nothing has been announced yet, with a upcoming US single it's safe to say there might be a tour of sorts and we can't help but wonder if a certain UK boy band, from the same record label, will bring them along for the US leg of their sold-out tour this summer. Anything can happen, right? We'll keep you updated.
Do you think Little Mix has what it takes to crack America?
