One Direction love to pull pranks but they were the latest victims of UK TV pranksters Ant and Dec on their ITV Saturday Night Takeaway this week. The prank involved One Direction doing a interview with a fake New Zealand morning TV show before two people dressed up as One Direction's biggest fans from New Zealand come to meet the boys and one of them even pretends to suffer an asthma attack to really get the boys worked up.
"The ruse was that 1D’s biggest fans had flown in to meet them," Ant told The Mirror earlier this week. "Dec dressed up as one called Jack from New Zealand and I was Ben, a TV host from there. I introduced him to the group – and the meeting didn’t go as planned. But they fell for it."
"I faked an asthma attack. They panicked and I hyperventilated," Dec added. "They called medical emergencies. It was such fun and they fell for it. We did it in Madison Square Garden before Christmas."
Do the boys look surprised to you or do you think they were onto the scam? Check out the video below and decide for yourself!
