The Voice had a special Wednesday episode this week to reveal which four contestants would be going home and who would make the top 12. America's votes will save two of the four performers on each team and the coach will get to save a third, sending one member of each team home.
The night also had an interesting twist when host Carson Daly revealed that there was some voting inconsistencies causing any votes made by text and online to become invalid. However, they insisted that the error did not effect the final results.
The show would kick off with a group performance from Team Blake and Team Shakira who performed a rendition of "Hall of Fame."

Now onto the results.
Team Blake:
Holly Tucker and Danielle Bradbery were saved by America's votes.
Blake decided to keep The Swan Brothers saying that he wanted to keep things different and diverse. This decision sent Justin Rivers home.
Team Shakira:
Sasha Allen and Kris Thomas were saved by America.
After saying that she hopes all the eliminated contestants capitalize on the exposure, Shakira made the not-so-shocking decision to keep Garrett Gardner, who she thought she could help grow more. This would send Karina Iglesias home.
Then it was time for another group performance as Team Adam and Team Usher teamed up for "Don't You Worry Child." Maybe it's just personal opinion, but these combined group performances didn't really work. It felt like way to many people on-stage. It was still decent though.
And now the results for those teams:
Team Usher:
Michelle Chamuel and Vedo were saved by America's votes.
After saying that they'll be able to have careers and push the limits no matter what his decision, Usher decided to keep Josiah Hawley sending Cathia home.
Team Adam:
Judith Hill and Amber Carrington were saved by America.
In a VERY rushed decision, he saved Sarah Simmons. Caroline Glasser is sent home.
After the first results show of the season, it's clear The Voice still hasn't fixed the fact that they run out of time near the end of the show. Well other coaches took minutes to make their decision, Adam was forced to make his in a considerably lower amount of time.
What did you think or the results? Were the right people sent home? You can sound off in the comments below.
