Jennifer Lawrence made her debut as host on Saturday Night Live last night (January 19), it was a show jammed back of great skits that saw Jennifer as Katniss, a mean waitress, a punk girl, and even as a dog chief. But before Jennifer even took the stage, the show was off to a good start as they did a CNN Piers Mogan cold open where they talked about some of the week's biggest stories and at the very end gave Liam from One Direction a shoutout as they joked they would have a "hard hitting debate about gun control" with him.
Let's take a look at some of the best moments from Jennifer's show.
Starting with the opening monologue where she talked about winning a Golden Globe Award on Sunday night (January 6) and then smack-talked a few of her fellow Oscar nominees.

The only Hunger Games style sketch of the night was a ESPN type press-conference with the gamemaker, Katniss, and Peeta. Throughout the sketch the clueless reporters joked about Peeta's height and how Katniss always seems to get the majority of the attention.
Jennifer showed off her mean side as she played a waitress who was nice to everybody except for one couple who her character called "trash" and even sprayed whip cream all over them.
And possibly one of the best sketches of the night was when Jen showed off her rapping skills in the Minnesota hip-hop radio station bit. It's hilarious, take a look.
