The last time you may have seen 14-year old Beatrice Miller was when she was eliminated in a double elimination episode of The X-Factor on Thanksgiving night, now she has a record deal! It was announced yesterday that Beatrice, who competed in the teams category with mentor Britney Spears, is the first signing to a new collaborative agreement between Hollywood/Syco Records.
"Syco, along with the creators of The X Factor franchise, have cultivated some of the industry’s leading talent," Ken Bunt, president of Disney Music Group, said in a statement. "We are thrilled about the opportunity to contribute the unique resources we have at Hollywood Records and Disney to showcase Beatrice’s incredible talent."
Beatrice joins winner Tate Stevens as well as Carly Rose Sonenclar, Fifth Harmony, and Emblem3 as X-Factor contestants from season 2 who have been signed under the Syco brand.
